Beaver Train Day
September 15, 2018
3rd Aurora Beavers have booked a special "Beavers Train Day" at the Richmond Hill Live Steamers outdoor scale model railway in Stouffville (McCowan and Vivian) for Saturday September 15th and we have a limited number of extra spaces available for any of our Beavers friends who would like to joins us for this 4 hour event.
Richmond Hill Live Steamers offers Beavers the exclusive chance to ride on scale modeled steam, electric and diesel trains through a beautifully forested and property. More information about the facility and the club can be found at http://richmond-hill-live-steamers.tripod.com/ .
The cost to attend this unique and fun filled event will be $40 per family (1 Beaver and 1 parent/guardian) and includes a BBQ lunch. Spaces are available on a "first come first serve basis", provided we have enough Scouters attending to meet ratio. We will set up a waiting list for those interested and hope to confirm the final attendees list by early July. Unfortunately due to the likely high interest in this event and limited number of spaces available, this will be a "Beavers only" event (youths registered for this fall), with no spaces available for non-Beaver siblings for friends.
All Beavers must be accompanied at this event by a single paying parent or guardian. Those interested in joining us for this event are asked to contact myself, Kyle Munro at email@example.com as soon as possible to arrange payment in order to reserve your spaces. This event is all but assured to be a sold out event, and a fun time for all.
